“Olivia Iannone is currently employed by Culmen International as a Project Lead on the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Advisory and Assistances Support (A&AS) contract.”

Olivia Iannone is a 2018 graduate of the Georgetown M.S. Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Disease program.  She also holds a B.S. in Microbiology and a B.A. in French from the University of Pittsburgh.  During the spring 2018 semester, Ms. Iannone completed an internship at Gryphon Scientific where she was able to apply the concepts that she was learning in class to U.S. Government-funded projects.  She researched the landscape of biosafety and biosecurity governance in the MENA region and contributed significantly to ongoing projects by analyzing legislation and policy documents written in French.

Olivia Iannone is currently employed by Culmen International as a Project Lead on the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Advisory and Assistances Support (A&AS) contract.  She supports government clients in the Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) and works on country portfolios in the Middle East and Central Asia regions. In this role, she provides technical, acquisition, and program management expertise to further BTRP engagement efforts with international partners in the areas of biosafety, biosecurity, and biosurveillance.
