Jeffrey Stiefel

Dr. Stiefel served in Senior Leadership roles in the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security. He has extensive experience in WMD policy and operations and Homeland Security Community Health Resilience, health issues related to climate change and WMD Policy and Operations. An extensive and exceptional record as Program Executive managing chemical and biological detection acquisition and operational programs worth over $1B. He was the Executive Director for the Federal BioWatch program. Recognized expert on climate change and health resilience, community resilience, disaster health resilience, strategic planning, program management, and   cross-functional across the disaster preparedness and health resilience arena.   A visionary and   innovative professional with keen business acumen and the ability to work closely and cooperatively with the public and private sectors, NGO’s, educational and research institutions at all levels to build and align teams to achieve mission-critical results. Articulate and persuasive with excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Recipient of the DHS Secretary’s Silver Medal for Exceptionally Meritorious Service in Program Management.

Experienced in developing and teaching College/University courses at the Instructor, Associate or Assistant Professor Rank.
